This lovely couple met online. As far as I'm concerned all the cool people, meet online. You think I'm kidding or being sarcastic? I'm so not. I met my husband online. BAM! Point proven. ;)

**Just to clarify, I don't really think I'm cool. I just think it's cool how many people to meet online these days!**

Groom is from Texas but has family here, who I happened to take extended family pictures of last summer/fall. SUCH a fun family! The one request this groom had, was FUN family pictures. Okay, alright, I can TOTALLY do that!

I LOVED the gorgeous purple colors and the dreamy lighting in the reception hall. I'm such a geek, I know it.

 This group KNEW how to have a good time. There was chicken dancing, calling me maybe's, and there was even some worm breaking going on.

 I had so much fun with this wedding!!! Wedding like this, I could do over and over and over. BUT, I wish this bride & groom a world of {yes we met online AND we're} happiness'!

Senior-Andrea | Cache Valley Senior Photographer

Andrea is such a sweet, & {obviously} gorgeous girl! She is my sister-in-law's BFF & the 3 of us had SO much fun with this shoot. My sister-in-law joins me on a majority of photo shoots (you know this if your a previous client) to help me out...it was really fun to watch her interact with Andrea, her mind-as-well-be sister! Reminds me a lot of me, and my sister!


I don't know what it is with 'my' seniors. Because they ALL, (and I mean ALL) have perfect complexions! The ones from down south, the ones from up north..they ALL do & it makes me 100% jealous! I mean, for reals (yes, I just said for reals) CHECK THIS GIRL OUT!

I have to warn you, this girl has killer fashion sense. I not only envy her skin, but her clothing...ESPECIALLY these shoes. You know how I am with shoes. ;)

On a completely, non-photography related topic...this book is a MUST read. The author wastes NO time to get you hooked. It was a one day reader for me (poor family)... Can't wait to start the not-so-much sequel! If this not-so-much sequel is as good as the first, I'm going to need some more good reads...what are your favorites?

P.S. I was linking the books to the authors site, and discovered there is ANOTHER book in the 'series'. Guess I'll have to go back and read it too!

Trash the Dress | Cache Valley Utah Photographer

Hi Internet. This is Brooke. She is my favorite. She is gorgeous. She is fun. She is willing. 100% ideal client for any photographer.

I was beyond stoked when Brooke said she wanted to do a Trash the Dress session. I've never done one before. Seen them? Yes. Loved them? No doubt. 

Not everyone understands or agrees with 'trashing' a wedding dress. And that's fine. Brooke however, was game. ;) She is also a photographer, a hair dresser, and a designer. She understands the 'need' to be creative and work 'outside of the box' once in a while!

Bold & beautiful was our goal & I think we scored. Don't you?

We had fun. A LOT of fun. My awesome sister in law (as many of you know), assists me on the majority of my photo shoots. We have a blast and she will never know how much I truly appreciate all of her help! She is a good sport and isn't afraid to get burnt, or fall into the freezing river. ;) I {heart} her. That is all.

Remember when I said Brooke was willing? This is exactly what I was referring to! I think {her} hubby and Rach {sister in law/assistant} were also willing! :)

Last fall, I took Brooke & her fam's pictures. After I was done editing them, and my confidence was at       -1892304820938420975028 below normal (yeah, that low) I e-mailed her and told her I was banning myself from every working with her again. I guess I lied & I'm so glad I did. 

I know the 'point' of these pictures, is bright, bold, and colorful. I just couldn't resist this one in black and white. Her eyes amaze me. Just pure awesome.

Last but not least...My favorite picture EVER. The best part was there was hardly ANY editing involved. This girl is a natural.

Thanks Brooke, Steve, & Rach! It was a blast and I LOVE the outcome. You rock & will never know how glad I am you did this shoot with me!
